The Fire Inside Me

I officially HATE back-seat drivers! I used to be one last time, but now I know how it feels and I would try my best not to be one anymore. Here is my story:
.
After dinner, I went to the car first and thought of picking up the rest later. I did that out of my kind heart so that the GM doesn't have to walk so much. But when I wanted to turn into the particular area, the guard had already blocked the way, forcing me to go down to P2 and come back up to P1 before picking them up.
.
My angel wings and halo were already on fire. When they got up the car, I wanted to take a faster route out of the parking area. BUT, someone just said something REALLY nice and robbed my wings and halo and instead gave me a beautiful red tail and a pair of sharp horns! With my new power, I drove very fast (for a parking lot's standard).
.
The fire in me did not die and someone still wanted to add some oil to it. When I was almost leaving the parking lot, I slammed the break and caused the whole car to stop abruptly. Cool. At least that stopped someone from adding more oil onto the fire burning in me.
.
But that was only for another 3 minutes. That special someone just had to add another cup of oil to the ashes that were already dying down. Of course, with the extra cup of oil, the ashes turn to another huge flame. That person wanted to go somewhere and I purposely avoided the directions given.
.
Then, an invisible force deleted my tail and horns and replaced them with a halo and wings. So, before I turned to go home, I went to the place the someone wanted to go. Although I had those wings and halo, the fire was still there.
.
So, while everyone got down the car to go somewhere, I sat in the car and turned the radio loud. Pumped it loud! That was the cup of water that extinguished my fire. My mood returned to normal after a few minutes.
.
Now, I'm at home. The final move to eliminating all the possible ways for the fire to recover, that is to post the story here. I finally know now, why people drive fast when they are angry. It was quite fun to know you are in control while the others freak out. And I also learnt something from this. That is, when you suddenly break, the gear will go from Drive to Neutral.
.
Finally, I have a message to everyone especially the someone I mentioned earlier. DO NOT tell others what to do when they are driving, ESPECIALLY ME!! OR ELSE!! If you really have to do that to someone, just tell them in a nicer way. My head is burning right now and I'll just take a shower to cool down...
.
* I'm in a bad mood now. So, I might say something I do not mean. Forgive me for that. Maybe sometime in the future, I'll be reading this and laughing my head off. For now, I'm still not laughing...*

Dinner at Tony Roma's in Mid Valley

We went to Tony Roma's in Mid Valley for dinner. We went at 6.30pm and when we finished ordering, it was 7pm. We were lucky to get a table because usually if you come without a reservation, chances are that you would have to wait for 40 minutes to get a table.
.
We got a table next to the window. M ordered shrimp scampi pasta, GM ordered Cod Fish, mum ordered Ribs, J ordered Fish & Chips, E ordered Kid's Fish & Chips and I ordered Roasted Garlic and Rosemary Chicken. A half portion Onion Loaf for everyone.
.
My chicken comes with 2 grilled, boneless chicken breast smothered in roasted garlic and rosemary BBQ sauce and sprinkled with grated Romano cheese. It is also served with rice and huge boiled broccoli.
.
This time, the waiter did not introduce us to the 4 sauces. Still, they were very polite and friendly. The service was good. As usual, they served water in the huge cups. The only thing we needed to get use to was that every now and then, a passerby will look at our table. Mum said we were like "fishes in an aquarium".
.We meet again, Mr Huge Cup.
.Onion Loaf (half portion).
.Can u believe that is a Kid's Size Fish & Chips?
.
When a waiter served me something (forgot what), I said "Thank You". I expected a "You're Welcome" and I was surprised that he said "No Worries". Haha, at least I learnt a new alternative reply to "thank you".
.My Roasted Garlic and Rosemary Chicken.
.
My chicken was too dry and the sauce was too little. This is what grilled means. No doubt it would be loved by many "light taste" lovers. But for me, I need thick yummy sauce to finish a meal. I forcefully ate my rice with chicken. There was a bunch of HUGE broccoli left and I know I can't eat boiled broccoli just like that. So, I took these:
.And did this:
.Broccoli with 3 Sauces (Original, Smokie and Honey)
.
Nobody except me finished their meal. All the food was packed and brought home. The bill totalled to RM 250++. That is about RM 36 per person. I was so full I nearly vomited. Looking forward to the next visit here...

Saturday Brunch, Lunch and Linner.

At about 10.30pm, we went to McDonald's, Bangsar to have our brunch. I ordered hot cakes set(pancakes actually). It comes with 2 pieces of hot cakes, a hashbrown and a cup of coffee. While eating, M pointed out that we can see KLCC and KL Tower merge together. We have been to McD since young and we only noticed it now.
.
Hot Cakes from McDonald's.
.
The amazing merger of KLCC and KL Tower.
.
We went to CzipLee to look at some stuff. I bought 100 pieces of fullscape paper and M bought a rubiks cube for only RM 1.80! That was way cheaper than I expected. And when we played with it, it was quite smooth compared to the other 2 we had.
.Rubiks Cube from CzipLee.
.
After that, we walked to Baskin Robbins to buy some ice-cream. On the 31st of every month, BR offers 31% off. That attracted many ice-cream lovers, including us. The que was quite short (10 people). We bought 3 quarts and 2 pints. It cost about RM 130++.

I actually wanted to buy more but since the flavour I saw in the leaflet isn't available, I didn't buy it. There were about 3 flavours that I wanted and the worker said they don't have that flavour. If you ask me, they shouldn't be advertising the flavours that they do not have.
.
3 quarts and 2 pints in 1 BR bag.

Tadaa! 2 pints, 3 quarts and 3 quarts.

Went home and uploaded some photos of yesterday. Got a call from SS. He needed me to pick him up from the workshop. SS, SS and C came to our house. Then, SS sent his car for repair and when I finished transfering the pictures into the computer, I went to pick SS up.

SS, SS, C, M, J, mum and I went to BaBa Low's in Jalan Tenggiri for lunch. They all ordered Mee Siam. I didn't because I hated Bee Hoon. SS, SS, C, mum and I ordered Cendol. M ordered teriyaki wings (6pcs) for everyone to share.
.
Cendol from Baba Low.

They didn't say anything so I assume it was okay. Cendol tasted like how a cendol should taste like. SS paid the bill and we went to BV. C and mum wanted to buy some Aesop products so we walked to BV II. Then, we walked to CzipLee again because SS wanted to buy another rubiks cube for K.

SS and mum went to the art exhibition on the second floor. The rest of us went to visit our baby cousin. He is already four months old. Wait till he sees his 1 month old nephew! That would be freaky. We went back home after half an hour or so.

I was scooping Ice Cream when mum called. She asked me to pick SS and her up. SS and I went to pick them. Then, we dropped SS and SS to the workshop. After that, we bought some rojak for everyone to eat. When we finished the rojak, SS, SS and C went home.

Came upstairs and started updating this blog. Now, all of them are shouting at me because they want to go for dinner early. How to eat an early dinner when you just ate so much food?? Haih. Better go now...

GSC Signature Premiere Class in Gardens

Dad bought 4 Indiana Jones Premiere Class tickets for RM 80 each. The original price was Rm20. As you all know, charity stuff sure more expensive. Since it was for charity, he was willing to buy it. This is my most expensive movie experience and I don't think I'll be doing this for another time.
.
So, we went after dinner to Gardens. Dad went to Mid Valley to do some stuff while mum went to Borders. M and I went to this shop called Action City. Later we went back to Borders. At 8.45pm, we went upstairs (4th floor). no one was allowed to go in yet because they were still cleaning up.
.
We found out that popcorn was free but drinks wasn't. We lined up at a counter for quite a long time. When we reached there, the cashier told drinks are not sold here. What a waste of our time! The drinks line was soooooo long. That was probably caused by too many people buying drinks and the staff selling drinks was snails. So, we decided not to buy any drinks and went in the cinema.
.
The seats were all double seats. There is a place to put your drinks and a small table top attached for your other stuff. When we went in, there were popcorn on every table top of each seat. Popcorn wasn't that nice. Couldn't take pictures until the end of the show because it was too dark.
.
The movie was quite entertaining. Although it was in the 1950's the adventure and mystery of the movie maked it quite a nice show to watch. There was a scene with Siafu ants. Those ants can eat human very quickly (in real life, they attack humans occasionally but not devour them). That was my favourite part.
.
The show ended at 11.30pm and we went home. Here are some picture I managed to snap before we left the cinema.

Premiere Class Cinema 1.

This is where M and I sat.

Lunch at Ichiban in Plaza Damas

Mum brought me to this restaurant called Ichiban in Plaza Damas. I slept in the car and only woke up when we got there. The shop is actually outside the complex and is 2 doors away from Starbucks. If you know come out from staircase 18, you should be able to see it.
.
We asked for a non-smoking table and they sat us in a tiny table. The other tables were all reserved. I ordered a unagi+ yasai tempura set (RM 18). And mum ordered California handroll (RM 6) and Dragon Maki (RM20 for 6). They placed 2 plates for each of us. I don't know what that is for and we didn't use/need it.
.
What to do with these plates?

Dragon Maki.

unagi+ yasai tempura set. It comes with

Miso Soup,

Chawanmushi and...
.
...fruits
.
The unagi was so hard to chew, worst unagi I tasted so far. Yasai tempura which means vegetable tempura was okay. The fruits that came with my set was just a piece of pineapple and honeydew. The usual Miso Soup and Chawanmushi came along with my set. All the miso soup and chawanmushi tastes the same to me. The Dragon Maki wasn't as nice as Mizu Maki because there was less stuff inside. I suppose what you pay is what you get. Mum said the California Handroll was one of the best she ever ate.
.
With tax, the bill totalled up to be RM 50.60. Mum paid. After another few cups of green tea, we left. On the way to our car, we saw some event happening downstairs. It turned out to be the "Aussie Fair". There were two groups of girls from some Australian international school dancing on stage. We watched for a little while before going home.

Drenched...

Today we had Malaysian studies test. It is conducted in an open book format. This means we can use any references including the Internet. When u look at the whole class, it seems like almost 60% was using laptops.
.
After that, I met up with SL and JE to discuss our Malaysian assignment. I then went home. Mum brought me out for lunch at Ichiban in Plaza Damas. After that, I went back to APIIT because I had PITS presentation at 4pm.
.
It was drizzling when I walked to APIIT so I didn't want to take an umbrella. half way there, it rained so heavily that when I reached APIIT, I was totally drenched. I went to the toilet to dry myself up. Then I went to the lab and saw ML and JJ. I quickly prepared what to say for my presentation.
.
We waited till 3.50pm before going up. LH was inside doing his presentation so we waited. When LH finished, Miss Hema asked us to wait for a while because she double-parked and the person in front of her wants to get out. So we waited for another 10 minutes or so.
.
When she came back, KS went to present. All of us waited out side. When it was my turn, I went in and said good morning! and she replied good morning too! Its already pass 4pm so I quickly said good afternoon. The presentation was easy and Miss Hema said "Excellent work" and showed me the A+.
.
I was quite proud then but when KH came out and told me that Miss Hema told him the same thing! "Excellent work, A+" I was confused. That's weird. Is she giving A+ to everybody? If so, was my presentation a VERY good one or was it lousy but she still gave me A+ ?
.
I went home and showered. Ate. Now going to GSC Signature in Gardens to watch Indiana Jones 4 (Premiere Class). Will be back around 11.30pm. I won't be posting until tomorrow.

Auntie Anne's and Chawan in Bangsar

Mum and I went to Chawan (opposite BV) in the evening, and found out that it just opened yesterday. We choose to sit outside and guess what? That row of tables outside has 3 different kinds of chair each. The floor was just a normal cement floor with no tiles. Maybe it is their style but I didn't really like it.
.
We ordered Fruit Rojak and I ordered a Chawan Frappe Ice-blended. The waiter told me that it was Kemaman Coffee mixed with Nescafe. She even asked me if I'm sure I could drink Kemaman Coffee mixed with Nescafe! Of course, I'm not a kid anymore! After a while, the rojak and my coffee came.
.
Fruit Rojak. Both of us didn't like it (but spicy food lovers will love it)

Chawan Frappe Ice-blended. Looks nice and huge??

As you can see, 3 quarters of the cup was full of ice!! This should be called Expensive Super Mini Chawan Frappe Ice-NOT-blended!!

We asked for the bill and it totaled up to RM 13++. The waiter asked mum "How was the rojak?" and mum answered "Didn't like it" and the waiter said "Owh! A lot of customers say this rojak is very nice". Then mum said "Oh, maybe it is just me then". Guess what she said?? "YA, IT IS JUST YOU!!". How rude, she could have handled the situation better.

We went to Auntie Anne's in Bangsar Village after that. Mum ordered a Sour Cream Pretzel while I ordered a pretzel called "Zesty Roselle". It is coated with pink/purplish sugar and it isn't sweet. Mom said the pretzels weren't as nice as before but to me it tastes the same.

For some reason, you can't see the purple colour of the sugar. It actually looks really special , cool and weird at the same time.
.
When we reached home, I found a mini Klang River in front of our house. Probably the exact same colour as the Klang River. Hehe.
.
This is actually caused by some construction work further up the hill.

Rainy Thursday

Yesterday night, for the second time in 3 days, C, K, SS, SS, GM, J, M and I went to GG's house to deliver some baby stuff. We stayed there almost until 11pm. On the way home, we went for supper again! Hehe, we're all very 胃吃(Cantonese)!
.
This time, we went to Davi's Corner opposite BV II. We ordered a cheese naan, roti canai, 25 (10+5+10=25) sticks of satay and drinks for everyone. C and I thinks the cheese naan was nice. I liked it because it was salty. Roti Canai was okay and many of us said that the satay here is nicer than Syed.
.
1st wave of satay (10 chicken 5 beef)
.
After PITS class today, ML and I sat outside the lab while waiting for JT and KW to finish their class. We talked to KH and got to know each other better. I couldn't believe we chatted from the beginning to the end of the other group's lab session.
.
When the emerald group was finally done, we went for lunch at the cafeteria downstairs. Then, we went to the lab to kill the extra 1 hour. At 1.30pm, we went for IS class. This Mr Mohan was very punctual and we were as punctual as him. Unfortunately, there was only Mr Mohan, ML, JT, KW and I in the class at that time. The others were late. Most of them thought that today's class starts at 1.45pm.
.
We were dismissed at 3 pm. When we walked to the corridor, the sky was so dark and we could barely see, it was as if the whole building was out of power. Actually it was raining and the very dark clouds blocked the sun coming into the building.
.
JT, KW and I shared 2 umbrellas and went to my car. We saw a car blocking mine! Luckily, he had some sense to put his phone number there. I called him and asked him to repark his car. Poor him, he came to the parking lot without an umbrella and got totally wet just to repark his car. I guess that is the price you pay for parking like this.
.
At home, I read some random blogs. Mum and I went to Chawan and Auntie Anne's in the evening. AC is going to Korea, so good luck to him. Tomorrow I'm going to present my first assignment. I wonder how that will turn out.

My 50th Post

I have just reached my 50th post. I have been posting everyday since 30th April. Thanks to all my readers for their support or I wouldn't have got the stamina to post so much and come this far.
.
Actually 50 posts is nothing, but to mark this occasion, I changed my labels. The Food label is still there but the "Interesting" and "Kinda Boring" labels have been deleted. So from now on, interesting or boring will be for you to decide not me. I also added these labels, one for each day of the week :
  1. Mondays
  2. Tuesdays
  3. Wednesdays
  4. Thursdays
  5. Fridays
  6. Saturdays
  7. Sundays
This is actually for my own recording purpose. So next time, when I ask myself "what did I do last week?", I'll be checking from here. Some times, you will see that a post is labelled Sunday when the date on Blogger is Monday. This is because it was meant for (or written on) that particular day.
.
I'm really looking forward to my 500th post!! But first, my 100th, 200th, 300th and 400th will have to come first. How long shall that take?? Maybe by then I would have graduated!! For now, I'll just keep you guys entertained...

Long Hours Between Classes

Last night, I was talking to MZ on MSN while waiting for AM's face to pop up on NTV7. Waited until 12 something also didn't see the advertisement. MZ and I haven't chatted for a long time so we just talked and talked about college and other things till 12.30am. I wouldn't have even stopped if dad didn't keep asking me to sleep. Chatting with your old friend really can be interesting.
.
I reached college today at 10.30am today. I was about 2 to 3 minutes away from being late. Learned some Microsoft Access stuff. Then after that, we had another 4 hours and 5 minutes till our next class starts. So, we decided to go to Mid Valley.
.
7 people in my car and 5 in AC's car. DY commented that I drive very 斯文. Haha, I don't care. As long as I don't kill all of us I'm happy. We went round and round the car park for quite long before finding one. Since it is Lunch time + School holiday, already expected this to happen.
.
The girls went to Sushi King (wah so rich hor), JT, ML and I went to McDonald's (3 Big Mac coupons used) and the rest of the guys went to Oasis food court. Being the first few to finish lunch, we walked around. Not in time for movie so we didn't watch any movie. Sobs. We then met the rest of them in the arcade next to Cosmic Bowl.
.
Some of us watched while the rest played those arcade games. After an hour or so, we went into Cosmic Bowl. ZS, AC, AL, KS, CC and WL decided to play while JW and DY went shopping. JT, ML, JJ and I watched them bowl a few rounds and went walking around MV after that.
.

So dark cannot see la...ML, WL, CC, AL and AC

On the way back to APIIT, CC asked me to use a different road (the alternative road if the one I always use gets jammed). She said it is faster. I followed her way but still think that the way I take is much faster.
.
Our new IS teacher is a guy. His name is S.Mohan. He was in the IT field before we were born. He normally teaches Degree Level 3 students. When the students are noisy, he looks at them and most of the times, they just automatically stops talking. Definitely better than Miss Z. To me, he looks like a good lecturer. We will just have to wait and see.
.
Dropped JL at the LRT station before going back. Now I am starting to feel familiar with this area. Now I'm at home and just found out that Nuffnang is having a "wild live blogging" event. Invitations limited to 100 people. Not really keen on going.
.
Leg still hurts, maybe I hurt myself when I had the cram. Aiyo, tomorrow got another 3 hours free. This is not a good thing yet but I got a feeling that in a few years time, That 3 hour opening will be used for rushing assignments and studying for exams or whatever that is NOT fun.

The Many Stuff that Happened on Tuesday

Today, I woke up at 6 in pain. Suddenly my calf had a cram! I didnt know if I should stretch it or relax it. After a while, the pain faded. But my calf area is stil causing pain. I went to college at 10. By the time I reached there, there were no vacant spots for me to park. The guard won't allow me to park at the monthly parking area. So, I had to park FAR away from class. Haiyo.
.
During PITS class, Miss Hema allocated each of us our presentation slots. I'm suppose to present my work this Friday 4.30pm slot. After lunch and before NS class, I turned on Turistas on my laptop. Some of my classmates surrounded me and watched it. It was fun to see and hear many different reactions when the violent scenes were playing.
.
At the end of the NS class, Miss Jessica Wong asked the class if the class is supposed to run in this noisy way. She also gave us a nice lecture!! Woohoo!! That is exactly what the class needs man. This is a much better way to handle the noise compared to last time. The class was so silent for the 10-15 minutes. All the teachers should learn this perfect way of quieting the class. For that, I'll give her a GOOD feedback. Bad shall be shamed and the good shall be praised.
.
It was drizzling while I drove back. Waited for M to shower, then we went to pump petrol for my car. Can u believe it? RM 80 then full tank already. Then, I dropped her in McDonalds to use the 6 chances to chant. That day we only bought 6 McValue Meals and we have 8 coupons!! Now left with 6 because we used 2. McD Centrepoint better start training their staff to count properly. Hehe.
.
I then went to pick J up from tuition. When J finally realized that we weren't heading home, she asked me where are we going. I just kept quiet and went to pick M up from McD. M was waiting for us when we reached McD. Guess what she got? 6 Big Mac Coupons!! WOOOOT!! Good Job M!!
.
7 Big Mac Coupons left!! When shall we use it??
.
Once we were in front of the house, mum asked me to drive her to BSC to collect her new glasses. We were there for nearly an hour. She had to adjust her glasses. After that, she still continued to chat with the boss there. Haih, I was bored to tears. Luckily I wasn't that hungry yet.
.
I then smsed AM and asked her about her being an actress (saw her doing some filming in APIIT today) and she asked me to watch NTV7 tonight at 11pm. Probably some APIIT advertisement. My calf is still giving me some pain and I can't walk without feeling the pain. Hope it will get beter tomorrow.

Night Adventure

After dinner, GM ordered me to drive the Avanza to SS's house to bring the baby cot to GG's house for my nephew. So good hor, GOLDEN great-grandchild!! So, GM, M and I went to SS's house.
.
When we reached SS's house, SS loaded the cot and stuff into the Avanza. SS, C and I sat in the Avanza while SS, K, M, J and GM sat in the Kancil. We then convoyed to GG's house where our new family member lives.
.
When we reached there, we fixed the cot. Then, we looked at the baby and talked a bit. All of us was trying to make the baby open his eyes. We also tried to teach K how to solve the first layer of the rubik's cube.
.
We only left at about 10.50pm. We decided to go for supper and went to Syed in Bangsar. We ordered drinks, Roti Canai and 10+10 sticks of satay. The waiter used a PDA to take your orders! Some of you that frequent Syed probably already know about this.
.
1st wave of Satay taken with a lousy cam.
.
SS paid and we left at about 11.50pm. Sadly, we parted and said our goodbyes. Reached home and decided to blog since I couldn't sleep after my Teh Tarik. Besides, my class tomorrow only starts at 10.30 am. Currently there's a noisy parrot singing out-of-tuned songs. Just managed to shut her up. Nite.

The Coffee Log...

I've been to drinking coffee too many times so from now on, I'm gonna keep track of it. I'll keep updating this post. Here goes:

You just received One Missed Call...

BOO!!
.
I went to college early today because I wanted to see WL's assignment before she submitted it. When I reached the car park, there were less than 10 cars. At about 8, KW and I was sitting at a table near the Student Services office. We were looking at each others assignment. WL called me soon after that and came to join us.
.
Looked at WL's assignment and AC came. After AC, CC came and a few seconds later JW appeared too. All of our assignments layout was different. Some said should be like this, some didn't think so. I was so confused. Those minor stuff didn't bother me because everyone has their own way of presenting their assignment.
.
They commented that my assignments was very detail. And the worst part is MY HEADER HAD A TYPO!!! Instead of AICT003-3-1, I typed AICT002-3-1!!! WTF, the header applied to ALL pages!! I decided to think about it later and all of us went to class.
.
After PENG and NS class was over, WL, CC, FK and I went to the new office downstairs to hand in our assignment. I decided to leave the header alone and cross my fingers that Miss Hemalata doesn't see it. Most of the students were rushing their asses of finalizing their assignment. There are also a minor few that just wanted to start today.
.
All I have to say is GOOD LUCK to those who are doing last minute work. Hehe. Actually I'm considered as doing last minute but since I'm one of the first people to hand it in, I get to laugh at them. Went to my car and saw that a car was parked in such a way that I had too use my skills to come out. Luckily I did not hit any cars and managed to get out of there.
.
At home after lunch, we were wondering if we should go to watch a movie. Only after an hour, i finally decided not to do so. Instead I went down to watch One Missed Call. You will get a missed call from your friend (that just died) and if you play it, you will hear yourself talking for the last few seconds.
.
The missed call will tell you when you received it (future time, e.g. 2 days from now, 7pm), and you will die on that exact time. You will still receive the missed call even if you take the batteries out of your phone. If you throw your phone away, the moment you come in contact with another person's phone, you will still get the message.
.
Owh, and when you die, there will be a Red coloured Hard Candy. The lead actor and actress will then find out who was the original caller and why is she doing this. At the end of the show, the actress survives but the chain still continues. Maybe there is gonna be part 2?
.
Some people in college said that we are gonna have exams soon. I checked the Webspace Exam Schedule but nothing appeared. So, are we having exams or not?? Haih. Its is raining and thundering hard here. Better stop now and turn off the modem.
.
**Hehe, sorry for scaring you!! When I first saw it on the DVD cover, I thought that it would be a significant symbol in the show. Turns out it isn't important and just appears once or twice.**

Dinner at KFC, Brickfields

Mum suggested to go to this new restaurant called "Red" in Brickfields. She saw the advert in the newspaper. So we went to Brickfields and found out that it is not open. So, we went to KFC instead.
.
We ordered a Chicken Rice Set for mum and E to share, a Chicken Chop Set for GM and a Variety Bucket and a Meltz to share among us. There weren't many people queuing at first. But when we were eating, many people started to come in.
.
Variety Bucket and Colonel Chicken Rice Set.
.
At home, mum, E and I watched "Love's Unending Legacy" on Hallmark (Astro 702). The movie is about this girl named Missie who is a school teacher. She has a son and her husband was a sheriff that got killed on duty. She comes to this town to start a new life.
.
She then adopts a girl named Belinda. Belinda's brother, Jacob was adopted by another farmer who mistreats him.Eventually, Missie will help to get Jacob out of that Hell of a place to come live with her. Meanwhile, she and the local sheriff who helps her, slowly fall in love.
.
SS and family brought J to take some extra clothes so she can stay over at their house longer. Mum and J had a little quarrel. Ignoring the drama, I helped SS download a youtube video and transferred an episode of TSCOS to K's thumb drive. In the end, J still went to stay over.
.
I just checked my timetable for next week. OMG! Can you believe that on Wednesday, I have a 4 hour and 5 minute long lunch break. What in the world are we suppose to do?

Lunch at Izzi in Uptown, PJ

We finally went out for lunch at 1pm. Mum wanted to bring us to eat at Umai-ya in Uptown, PJ. When we went there, the waiter said we had to wait for 30 minutes. So we went to the next shop called "IZZI".
.
When I first saw it, I thought it was the 3G ISP. "Izzi" is actually part of "Izzi Pizza", a famous chain of restaurants specializing in Italian and Asian cuisine in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is located at 47-G, 2 doors away from Starbucks (not the corner Starbucks).
.
They offer 50% off the food menu. I ordered Garfield's favourite, E and mum shared a Spaghetti Bolognese and M ordered a Barbecue Chicken Salad. We also ordered a Mango Strudel and Chocolate Moose.
.
The thing I disliked most about this restaurant is they don't serve plain water and charge RM3 per bottle of mineral water. The music was loud and there were many people talking which made the atmosphere noisy. The lighting was nice though.
.
2 bottles of mineral water (RM 6)
.
Mango Strudel 3 out of 5

looks like a pile of SH*T right?Lasagna 3 out of 5
.
Thanks to the 50% discount, our bill cost RM50 and with tax, it costs us RM 52.50. That's quite cheap. Went in to Starbucks to look at the tumbler. We left after 5 minutes without drinking or buying anything.
.
At home, GM asked mum why didn't she turn off the stove. Mum thought she did but in fact, she just turned the gas to "low". Haha, Noob Cook!!

Lazy Sunday

Watched "Survivor : China" last night on NTV7 (Astro 107). It was the finals so It was announced that Todd won. After that, I switched to Hallmark (Astro 702) to watch the final episode of "Project Runway 4". It was so obvious that Christian will win because Victoria Beckham said she was a HUGE fan. In the end, Christian Siriano won.

At 8, someone called my house and no one was answering. I forced myself out of my comfy bed to go answer it. Dad went downstairs to pick it up so I went back to sleep. I only woke up at 10 and continue updating my blog.
.
Watched the final episode of TSCOS without watching the other 20 episodes. It was quite interesting for a last episode as we all know that nowadays the endings can be very stupid.
.
After that, I wanted to try out my LimeWire PRO 4.16.6. So, I just downloaded some songs. To me the speed was almost the same. I dunno. Anyway a big thanks to JT. When are we going for lunch?? ARGH!! Here is what I downloaded:
  • Realize - Colbie Caillat
  • Love Song - Sara Bareilles
  • No Air - Jodrin Sparks Ft. Chris Brown
  • When You Look Me in The Eyes - Jonas Brothers

Dinner at Quan's in Desa Pandan

We went to Quan's for dinner. They serve both Chinese and western food. I ordered a steak and french toast. Both of it was nice. Me n M shared a Mint Milkshake (RM 7.50). The milkshake was very nice because it was very thick. When the waiter brought it to the table, it was overflowing like a fountain. Haha.
.

After dinner, we went to visit my baby nephew. We gave him the mattress we bought earlier. We talked for a while and went home with some mangosteins.

At home, I told dad about the Nintendo Wii prices in 1 Utama. He said "work for it" Whadafuk. How the Heyl am I suppose to work when I'm in college?? Haizz

鱼头米 for Lunch at Damansara

Since I couldn't use the computer or laptop last night, I went downstairs to see what is there to watch on TV. I flipped the channels and found this program in Discovery Channel (Astro 553) called "Wild Sex". It was already running for 15 minutes. Quite interesting actually watching and learning about how bedbugs, lions and gorillas mate. I fell asleep when they were showing the adverts. When I woke up, they were showing Elephant Seals. I decided to go to bed. I was the second to sleep in the house last night. Wow.

Went for lunch somewhere near TTDI. It specializes in this Fish Head noodles. The price ranges from RM6.50 to RM11. They serve the noodles in huge bowls. Probably because I don't really eat fish, It was just okay for me. There seems to be a lot of people there. Maybe it is good? I don't know. GM said the shop in jinjang is still better.

My Dish. 鱼滑 with lai mee.

Huge Bowl.

Later we went to 1 utama to buy my nephew's mattress. After 1 hour or so, dad finally found it. Meanwhile, I went walking around and this is what I found out:

  • Cybershot 12.1 Megapixel Camera : RM1399
  • Nintendo Wii : RM 1490 - RM 1599
  • Rubik's Cube (lower grade) : RM 5
  • Rubik's Cube (higher grade) : RM 12

On the way home, we stopped at Shell and OCBC to pay dad's credit card bills. And finally, I went to bind my assignment. What a relief.

Secret Recipe in Lucky Garden

I woke up and rushed to pick AM. I needed to go to college because I have booked consultation hours with my lecturer. I bought a parking ticket for RM3/per day. Then, I went to the lab to print 2 pages of my assignment.
.
Predictably Miss Hema was late by 30 minutes. WL and LZ came 10 minutes before Hema arrived. They went to "Yam Cha" before this and were panting because they ran up the stairs. When Hema came and sat with us, we asked some questions and all that.
.
All of us then went to the lab to change parts of our assignment. That took me 1 hour. I deleted some unnecessary pages and that caused the page numbering to be rearranged. So, I had to spend another RM2 to print the 2 pages I printed earlier.
.
I also learnt how to use MSN in the lab thanks to LZ. They do not allow us to install MSN messenger so instead we used a web browser based messenger. If your college restricts you to the same, you can check out this website.
.
Before I left, WL asked me to wait for her. She said that they will go bowling after this. So, I waited for an hour or so. Finally, I decided that I can't wait anymore so I drove back. At home, I reprinted the whole project (you already know why) and burnt the final documents into Cd's.
.
Mum and I went to pick E because she missed the bus. I brought along my assignment for binding. But, I only remembered when I was 500m away form my house.
.
In the evening, I went out with mum to check out Dunlopillo in Bangsar (along the main road to BSC). Before we reached there, it was already raining so we went to pick M. After picking M and her friends, we then visited the shop.
.
No one was there to greet us when we entered the main door. We walked to the back of the place and an old guy came out (buckling his pants) and said "gimme a minute". We gave him the measurements of the bed (for my nephew) and he told us that he doesn't have bed's in this size. We went off and mum said she will never come here again.
.
It was raining so I didn't bind my assignments. Sent M's friends (JZ and SN) home. When we dropped JZ, M showed me the new Secret Recipe.
.
At night, mum, dad, MM, AC, M, J, E and I went to the Secret Recipe that just opened recently in Lucky Garden. I brought along my assignment for binding again. We ordered 5 cakes and 1 brownie. Chocolate Banana, Cheeze Choc, Oreo Cheese Cake, Mango Cake, Blueberry Cheese Cake and Vienna Brownie.
.
Out of that, only the Chocolate Banana, Mango and Cheeze Choc was nice. The rest didn't even reach the passing rate (40% : Edible). Could it be that the standards of all the Secret Recipe outlets have dropped our is it just this particular shop?? The service was NOT good. It made me TOTALLY NOT LOVE them.
.
Examples? The guy serving the drinks asks "Cappuccino?" and I said "there" (pointing to the other side of the table). Guess where he placed the drink?? RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE!! Then, he asked me again "Earl Grey Tea?" I pointed to the other side of the table again and said "there". And he DID THE SAME THING!! There is more examples but I better not tell you more.
.
MM was ranting about her PITA MD. "So full of herself, Thinks all of us are stupid, Blahblablabledidubluabalabla". Meanwhile, we were playing with the Rubik's cube. We went off only about 10.15pm (they told us they closed at 10pm). I wanted to stay longer so that the workers have to stay back. Well, we weren't the last ones so the 3 ladies in the shop helped me do the job.
.
Too late for binding because all the shops are already closed. Went to TMC and Maybank for awhile before reaching home. For 3 times today, I failed to bind my assignment. Hmm, maybe it's not the right day to bind. M and J wants to use the computer and laptop so I'm just gonna post up to here.

Mini YISB meeting in Mid Valley

Before I went out, I showered downstairs. I used the Dove Liquid Soap and the smell reminded me about my 3 days in NS. I totally forgotten all about it. Went to pick MR later. In the car, I found out that David Cook won the American Idol season 7.

Dove Liquid Soap.

We went to the top floor to collect the "Speed Racer" tickets. The "Cashier Girl" was just busy chatting with her other staff and a friend and put the "Counter Closed sign". We waited about 5 minutes before her friend decided to go away. She can't even tear a ticket properly.

My Ticket.

We then walked mindlessly around Mid Valley while we chatted. Then FN finally arrived. We walked another round or two before going in. Before that, We bought some popcorn and drinks. The popcorn today weren't nice at all. I remember that lastime they served much tastier popcorn. The cinema was a small cinema (can probably fit 100). Only a quarter of the seats were taken up.

Speed Racer was about 2 hours plus. Actually about one month ago, I told my sister I won't go and watch because I hate the fake graphics. It turn out to be quite a good show. The nice story line and cool car gadgets compensated the weird and striking backgrounds.
.
While watching, I remembered that lastime I use to watch some of the Speed Racer cartoon series. "Owh ya, he had a younger brother with a monkey." I recommend everyone to watch this (except people like my grandma that will get giddy watching the car or camera spin and spin and spin and spin).

Tips for Bloggers

Wow. Today I learn some new html stuff. Actually I learnt this in class but after reading this website , I decided to apply it. Now I can insert my captions into screen tips. Roll over the last pic to check it out.

Before:

Keychain Rubik's Cube.

After:

Someone said it was too expensive.Gotta return it soon. Keychain Rubik's Cube.

So the next time you see a picture, don't forget to roll your mouse over it in case I have placed a Secret Message there. I might not be doing that so often though. I also went to this website. It teaches us how to make images appear after hovering the mouse over it. Too lazy to learn it...

Short Adventure in Gardens

Finished 95% of my PITS assignment. Whoooohoooo!!! For the next 5 days I can relax! Went to Gardens around 4pm. We went to New Balance to leave M's shoe there for repair. We then decided to go to Starbucks for a change. We ordered a Venti Size Green Tea Frappacino (RM15.50 excluding tax), Venti Size Coffee Frappacino (Rm12.50 excluding tax) and a Cheese Cake.

What we ordered...
.
Then we went to Toys R' Us to check out the mini key chain rubik's cube. We finally bought it after much thought. It costs RM 22.95!! Later, we found out that it is quite stiff and hard to turn.

Keychain Rubik's Cube.

We then followed M to McDonalds. We brought two tickets for the chant from last week's McValue Meal. She gave it a try. I actually videoed her but unfortunately it was too noisy to hear anything.
.
When she was about to start her 1st chant, another "sesat" girl did it together. It was so funny. The cashier guy had to tell her. I bet you she was already looking for a place to hide her face. M did it and got 2 "congrats" ticket. Good Job Sis!! She exchanged 1 Big Mac on the spot. We decided to keep the other 1 for later.

Tada!! Winning ticket!!
(will post the video if I find a way to make the sound clearer)

Sent M and her friends to tuition just now. Going to take a shower now because We're going over to 97 to watch American Idol Final Performance Show.
