Surveys Gone Awry!

While walking in Sunway Pyramid, a girl came up to us and told us she is from Sunway College. Apparently, she lost her wallet and needs RM5.

My first impression was "Do you want my phone?". And when she asked for money, it got kinda fishy. Sunway College is just within walking distance, why do you need money? You can always go to the Student Services Counter to borrow some money.

Since I already decided not to give her any money, I told AC the story and wondered if he would help the girl. AC then told her to go down to the information counter to get help.

Upon hearing that, she said thanks and went off. I then noticed that she was actually WITH another girl!! WTF!! AC and I were super curious! Why did she want to ask for money if her friend is with her!

We locked our eyes on their every move. And 1 minute later, they went to this bunch of 3 girls sitting on the chair by the corridor! Scam ALERT!! I then told AC to bring out his camera. Both of us then took a few pictures of them in action!

We didn't bother stopping even though they saw us! :P

AC was kinda slow and he got spotted by them. We then walked off as if nothing happened. A split second later, the bunch of girls came RUNNING at us!

They then explained that they were psychology students doing a survey om "How many strangers would give them RM5". In a flash, they frantically showed us their results (a paper with many and ✔) , their proposal, and some other documents.

We told them everything is fine, and walked away. They still went on explaining to us and we had to reassure them that nothing is going to happen (except that they will make an appearance in our blogs) before they stopped following us.

I should have took a picture of their faces. They looked really scared as if we were gonna report them to the police. It was CLASSIC! xD

Later in Snowflake, a student came over and asked us to her fill in a survey. This one told us that she was taking "Tourism and Hospitality" in Taylor's.

The Survey Questionarre

Since she handled the situation quite well, all of us decided to help her fill it in. Looked around and realized most of the customers here were willing to spend their time filling it in too.

Also,

While waiting for AC to arrive, one lady double parked and blocked my car! I was looking at where she was going. To my surprise, she walked all the way to Starbucks (about 150m away)! How is she going to hear me honking if her car was still blocking later?! ARGH!!

When we were done, I went down and was relieved to see that the car wasn't there anymore.Saved me a lot of trouble. IF it was still there, I'd call a tow truck to come tow it away!

My phone alarm rang at 9.45am. Reached for it but the phone fell to the floor. Heard quite a loud sound so I assumed that the battery came out. Went back to bed. 15 minutes later, it rang again! Then I realized that everything was still in one piece.

Got up and started watching Glee. After that, I went downstairs to have cereal for breakfast. Then, I came up to use the laptop till it was 12pm. Took a shower and got dressed before driving over to Sunway Pyramid.

Went to TGV and bought tickets for our movie, Ip Man 2. Seconds after I went in line, ZS, AC and KW appeared by my side. Paid RM9 for the tickets. This time, we had to write our student ID and college name.

Ip Man 2 (student price) - RM 9.00

After purchasing the tickets, we walked around the mall to look for a place to lunch at. While walking in Sunway Pyramid, a girl came up to us and told us she is from Sunway College. Apparently, she lost her wallet and needs RM5.

Anyway, we walked around for another 15 minutes before we decided to have lunch at Fullhouse. There, I ordered their Caesar Salad Set which came with a jug of Ice Lemon Tea, Mushroom Soup, and a piece of mini cake.

Ice Lemon Tea (from set)

Mushroom Soup (from set)

Caesar Salad with Salmon (Set 3) - RM 13.90++

Minicakes (from set)

The Caesar salad was quite nice although I didn't eat the salmon. Loved the mushroom soup! The mini cakes were just "so-so". When we were done, we quickly paid the bill and went over to TGV.

Got into Hall 9 and watched Ip Man 2. The movie was good. I like the fighting scenes. There were also a couple of funny moments. Towards the ending, the movie sent out a BIG and MEANINGFUL message to the audience. Thumbs up to that!

Movie ended at about 4.45pm. Since we still had time, I suggested we go to Snowflake for dessert. Everyone agreed so we drove over to SS15 and parked our cars.

Ignoring that, I went to look for my friends and we went to Snowflake. Ordered the "Japan Combo" while the others ordered "Bestseller" and "Amber Jelly".

Once we sat down, a student came over and asked us to her fill in a survey. This one told us that she was taking "Tourism and Hospitality" in Taylor's.

My "Japan Combo" wasn't really that great. Mainly because I don't like Soya Milk. Furthermore, the Green Tea Taro didn't go well with it. Bestseller and Amber Jelly both tasted very good. :D

Japan! Combo - RM 5.50

Bestseller - RM 5.50

Sea Amber Jelly (Dessert of the Month) - RM 5.50

All of us were full after that. When we were done, I went down and was relieved to see that the car wasn't there anymore. Saved me a lot of trouble. IF it was still there, I'd call a tow truck to come tow it away!

Anyway, we said goodbye and I drove on home. Got stuck in two terrible jams. One along Sunway and another on the Federal Highway. By the time I got home, it was already 7pm!! AC was worst, he had to send KW and ZS back. So he got back at about 8pm!!!

Back home, I had to wait for my turn to use the bathroom. And right after I was done, I had to go back into the car and drive M to tuition. Had to pick her friends too...

When I finally got back, I ate my dinner and came up to blog. Stopped in between to chat with some friends. More and more people got the Prince of Persia tickets! :D

Anyway, its 11pm already. I'll end this post here. Nuffnangers, remember to "Nang" me okay? :P
