Pl@ce Cafe SS15 is NOT Dangerous!!

**It is MY MISTAKE, They DID give us the 10% discount! XD**
I'm SORRY!!
(23/05/10)

As I was typing this, I realized something! They
TRICKED US!! To draw us in, they told us that everything was 10% off and there was no service charge. Now that I look at the receipt, they DID NOT give us DISCOUNT and still CHARGED us government tax!

What a deceitful move, no service charge but still charge 5% government tax. And I guess the so called 10% discount was because they didn't charge us service charge. 10% service charge - 10% discount = 0%. We got TRICKED!!

By the way, they did not lie to us. Just merely twisted some words to confuse us. My fault for falling into their trap. Posting this in hope that no one falls for this trick anymore...

--------------------------Daily Entry Starts Here--------------------------

Woke up at 10.30am today and had cereal for breakfast. Then, I showered, got dressed and drove on to Sunway. Picked JW from her hostel and drove off.

We went to the Gardens. Since they stopped the public from parking at P4, looking for a place to park was HELL! 45 minutes later, I finally got LUCKY and found a place to park.

After parking, we went over to GSC and bought 2 tickets for "Shrek Forever After" (3D). Then, we had a quick lunch in McD. I had McChicken while JW had Double Chicken McDeluxe.

McChicken Set (R) - RM 6.25

Double McChicken Deluxe (R) - RM 12.90

Later, JW pointed out that the ticket printed "How to train your dragon". I then quickly went to the counter and try to get it fixed. They told me to check my ticket again because that ticket was printed in March.

Went back to JW and made her search her bag. And after 2 minutes of searching, she finally found the tickets. Was kinda annoyed but at the same time relieved. Ignoring that, we finished our lunch and rushed to the cinema.

We were still in time to watch some ads. Movie started at about 2.20pm. The storyline was kinda lame and predictable. There were some funny parts though. Also, 3D isn't that great. All you can see is the "distance". There wasn't many things that came flying into our faces...

Movie ended at about 3.40pm. We then walked around the mall and decided to watch the Adidas Futsal game. After a few round, we walked away and ended up in Burger King. Ate ice cream there while reading "Today" and using the WiFi.

Contestants in Action!

Ice Cream Sundae - RM 1.00

Later, we walked around for quite some time. Then, we drove back to the KTM station at SS15. JW went to change the date of her train ticket back to Ipoh. After that, we drove around and looked for food.

Walked by this Japanese fusion restaurant and the workers were like PLEADING us to come and give it a try. According to them, the shop was new. Since they tried so hard, we decided to go in.

The Pl@ce Cafe, SS15

Their Menu

Seats

Japanese Miso Chicken Rice - RM 7.50

Japanese Curry Chicken Rice - RM 6.90

Kaya Butter Toast - RM 2.00

The Miso Rice was quite tasty but it was kinda overpriced. JW's Curry Chicken wasn't that bad too. Unfortunately, the toast was a disappointment. They gave too little butter and the bread wasn't even crunchy...

The receipt (look carefully)

We left the place quite satisfied (didn't realize their trickery yet). Then, I dropped JW off at her hostel before driving back home. By the time I got home, it was already 9.30pm.

Mum asked if I wanted to go for a drink so I agreed. MM and Dad came along too. We went to Old Town and had some light food. My camera battery died, that's why I didn't take any other pictures except their new Roti Prata with Potato Curry.

I also tried their new Oreo drink which costs RM 8.90. Expensive and not worth it. Ordered their Kaya Butter Toast which was a disappointment again. Never gonna order toast from the Bangsar LRT outlet anymore. It fails every time. Sri Petaling one is much better.

Got back home at about 10.30pm and went to take my shower. After that, I started chatting till about 12am. Started blogging till now (2.35am).

It's late already. Gonna end this post and go to bed. Nang if you like this. :D
