Tekken is in the Cinemas!!

WOOTS! Nuffnang is giving away 50 pairs of invites to watch TEKKEN on 4th of August , ONE day before its official release in cinemas. To win this, you have to write a blog post and tell everyone which Tekken character you like the most.

My favourite character is Eddy Gordo. His dance-combat techniques, Capoeira, is COOL and at the same time, DEADLY!!

Eddy Gordo

Eddy was born into a wealthy family in Brazil. He was a hard worker and treated others as his equals. After school, Eddy found his dying father who was shot. His father was working to destroy the drug dealer in Brazil. Just when he had enough evidence to put the kingpins away for good, he was killed.

Just before he died, Eddy's father said, "Now is not the right time to fight. Falsely admit to the crime and hide in prison. Only there will you be safe". So Eddy obeyed and the model student went from a rich kid to a prisoner.

In prison, he met with an old man who fought very well with a technique called "Capoeira". For the remaining years in prison, Eddy practiced with the old man as his master. Soon after that, he mastered the art of blending DANCE and COMBAT.

After he was released from prison, Eddy heard about the "King of Iron Fist Tournament 3" and decided to join it, so that he could convince the Mishima Financial Empire to help him get revenge.
