It's A Long Long Day

Woke up at 7.30am and used the laptop for a while. Then, I went back to bed and woke up again at 8am. Took a shower and drove off.

We were supposed to have breakfast at Old Town after AC bought the parking tickets. Unfortunately, the counter only opens at 10.30am and AC insisted to wait at the counter. So, we decided to meet at APIIT.

This time, I was able to park inside the compound. After that, I waited for DY, AC and AL as they were parking their car. They got here at 9.30am and they started lining up to buy the parking.

When it was 10.30am, the queue was super long and one of the workers told the students at the end of the queue to go home because there were only 60 parkin g slots available. By the time AC got his ticket, we were already late for class.

All of us quickly went to the auditorium for our OS class. The lecturer gave us a test but many people referred to their notes or didn't do anything at all. I'm proud to say I did none of the mentioned things.

Class ended at 12.30pm and we went over to DY's house. We waited for DY to settle some stuff before going to Hailam Kopitiam at Puchong for lunch. The food was just average but the price was unreasonable.

Kaya Butter Toast - RM 2.10

Nasi Lemak Original - RM 5.80

Hailam Special Roast (cold) - RM 2.90

After lunch, we went to TM Point and I waited in the car while DY and AC settled some stuff. Later, we went to Kinrara and bought some wire netting. Then, we went to Giant and bought stuff for the BBQ tonight.

By the time we got home, it was already 6pm. After unloading everything, DY and I went searching for bricks. We finally found a shop that specialized in construction and they had a bunch of bricks outside.

Unfortunately, it was closed. We tried calling them and looking for them but there was nobody in charge to help us. In the end, we decided to take 20 bricks home and pay them back tomorrow.

Back at DY's house, we prepared for the BBQ. AC, MY and AL went off because of an emergency. Then, DY and I drove out to buy some ice and a lighter. I felt so awkward paying for the lighter...

When we got home, EP and HX were waiting outside. We quickly opened the door and brought everything in. While DY and EP started the fire, I went to the back and washed the cups and plates.

At about 9pm, we started putting some food on the "stove" and waited for it to cook. I just stood around because I had no skills at cooking. At about 9.30pm, AC, MY and AL came to join us. We then continued eating till about 10pm. A joined us too but she didn't want to eat anything.

EP and A left the house at about 10.30pm. The rest of us took turns to shower and hung around the house. At 1am, the bunch of us came out to the mamak stall in Kuchai Lama for supper and to use the WiFi.

I had a Roti Planta and Teh Tarik but it wasn't that great. Most of us used our laptops while we ate our food. I felt very insecure because we were sitting outside the restaurant and anyone could just take our laptops and drive off in a flash.

AL, MY, DY and HX went off at 2am but AC, ZS and I stayed back till I finished writing this post. It's 2.30am already and we can finally go back. Goodbye...

After we got back to DY's house, everyone went to sleep except AC and I. We made an agreement earlier that NO MATTER what time it is, we still have to spend 2 hours working on our assignment.

So the two of us went downstairs and turned our laptops on. With some help from each other, we managed to make our programs meet the requirements of our assignment. Now all we need to do is to enhance and beautify it.

During the most crucial part of our tests, we told each other "If this works, I'll belanja you beer". And to our surprise, it did work. So at 4.30am, we went to 7eleven and got ourselves 2 bottles of Heineken.

Cheers! (RM8.60 per bottle)

I was suppose to help AC with another program but he decided to slack off instead. And since it was already so close to morning, our stupid brains came out with the idea to stay awake because there was no point sleeping.

In the end, we listened to some music and watched a movie till it was 7.15am. We then woke the rest of the gang up and took turns to shower. Then at about 8.10am, we left DY's house and went to college...
