Shopping!

Woke up at 9am today and used the laptop for a while. Then, M and I helped GM to burn some "Gam zhi" as today was the day we "Goh Dong" (passing of winter). By the time everyone was ready, it was already 11am.

Mum then drove all of us to 1Utama for our second day of shopping. Before we hit any shops, we went to A&W for lunch. I ordered the Double Fortune Beef Burger Set but it wasn't really that good. Quite a waste of money.

Double Fortune Burger Set (Regular) - RM 11.80

After lunch, we split into 2 teams. The kids team (Mum and E) went to the second floor of the new wing to shop for kids cloths. Meanwhile, the teen team (M, J and I) walked to the second floor of the bridge to look for our clothes.

When we wanted to pay, we would call mum and she would walk over here to pay the bill. Later, mum and E had tea but we continued shopping. Next, we went to the floors below us to continue our shopping spree.

We went to Add-on and saw some incredibly cheap stuff! They were selling jeans at RM20 each. Besides that, the price of a skirt was RM39 but if you bought three, you just have to pay RM 20 (this is not a typo!).

After that, we went to Sticky and looked at the confectioners making some candy. After 20 minutes, we got bored and decided to continue our journey. J and I didn't get anything here and we just followed M wherever she went.

Mum told us she was at Haagen Dazs with E so we went upstairs to join them. We ordered a "Paradise" which was actually 6 small scoops of ice cream in between some thin waffles. Ice cream was good but still overpriced.

Paradise - RM 33.90

We then parted ways and went to shop again. Saw a polo tee at Padini but didn't pay for it yet because mum was busy shopping. The three of us then went to LG and walked around. M wanted to look for female basketball shoes but there wasn't any for sale.

Later, we went to Speedy while waiting for mum to come downstairs. They were selling 3 VCDs for RM10. I saw Star Trek among the pile so we quickly fished out Star Trek 4, Star Trek 5 and Star Trek 6! That was really a great deal!

Besides that, I also got myself BEP's second album, Elephunk and got J a Jonas Brother's CD. Each of them cost RM 30 individually but there was a promotion where you only pay RM 50 for 2 CDs. This was the only shop where I paid for my own stuff. Other's were all paid by mum.

Mum then came to "Hang Ten" to pay for M's shirts. Later, we went back to Padini and paid for the two shirts we wanted. Then, we finally went home as it was already 6.35pm and we didn't feel like shopping anymore.

For today's shopping spree, we spent about 5 hours walking and more than 1 hour eating and relaxing. The amount I spent for today was RM 291.52. This time, E was the big spender while I took second place.

Today's Items:

  2. Polo Tee from FOS - RM 35.10
  3. Shirt from FOS - RM 27.00

  6. Jeans from Add-on by M:30 - RM 20.00
  7. 3 VCD's from Speedy - RM 10.00
  8. 2 CD's from Speedy - RM 50.00
  9. Polo Tee from Padini - RM 34.50
The first item I bought yesterday was a PURPLE polo tee. I then told J and M that PURPLE was the Christmas color for this year. And today, every shop we went to had quite a few PURPLE items while Hang Ten's display was all in PURPLE! Haha, I'm so proud I could predict the trend!

Anyway, we got home by 7pm and I stayed downstairs to watch TV. At 8pm, we had dinner and I took my shower after that. Used the laptop for a short while before going down to 112 for some "tong yuen".

This year, they made "tong yuen" with CHOCOLATE fillings! And instead of the original ginger soup, they used soya milk! Well, it was an interesting mix but I didn't like the combination although the "tong yuen" was good.

Bassetts Liquorice (all the way from UK) - £ 3.00

Stayed there and watched TV with them till it was 11pm. Made my way home and started blogging. Suddenly, mum realized that we were missing a bag of clothes. It was E's clothes and that was worth RM 140.

After some commotion, we came to the conclusion that E was the last one to hold the bag of clothes. Until now, she still can't remember where she left it. They are going back tomorrow to look for it but I don't think it will still be there.

It's 12.40am already so I'm gonna publish this post and go to bed. Night...
