Hancock (Nuffnang's Private Screening)

After updating my blog, I got ready and left home. The TTDI jam was still there. I thought that if I went later it would have been gone but, no difference! I reached SS's house at 8.35pm. Went in and ate some food they bought from "pasar malam".
.
Then, SS drove the Avanza to Cineleisure. The parking lot was FULL! Everyone was parking illegally and you would be lucky to find a ILLEGAL parking spot! For some reason, the management didn't want to open P2 parking.

After about 15 minutes and going 5 whole rounds of P1, they finally opened the shutter to P2! I think we were the third or fourth car going to P2. P2 was totally empty. We found a place nearest to the escalator and parked there.

We reached the cinema at 9.20pm and saw a Nuffnang booth with many people standing around. I lined up and signed my name when it was my turn. They didn't even check wheter I am me! Maybe because we, nuffnagers, are so honest.

After I signed where my name was, the guy gave me 2 tickets. There were Nuffnang badges all over the table so I asked if I could have 1. He said sure and I took it. After visiting the washroom, we went in to the cinema hall.

The seats were "free-seating" and we got good (5 rows from behind) seats since we went in early. The first 4 row were for their VIP guests. Just before the show started, there were few photographers walking here and there taking pictures in the dark with their blinding flashes!

C watched it the day before. For some reason, she didn't like it. That's her opinion anyway. I had fun watching it. I loved the storyline. At least this is something different compared to all the other superhero movies.

The movie starts by showing how Hancock saves the day (while destroying properties that are worth millions). The next part of the movie shows how he turned over a new leaf. And the last bit was about WHO he really is. This is the part where the story gets interesting!
.
The movie ended at 11.15pm. Yup, it is quite short compared to other movies. We left the hall quickly and we noticed that at least 4 other hall ended their movie at the SAME time! Luckily, we didn't encounter any traffic jams while going out. Mainly because we walked fast and some people choose to park outside, along the road.

This was my first time attending a Nuffnang event and I had fun. Who wouldn't love watching movies for free? Anyway, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Nuffnang!

Dramas and Movies

Woke up early in the morning and the first words I heard was "I think 9.30 is quite late, watafukimabitchandamuthafucka so you find someone else to go with you!". Got ready and went to APIIT as usual.

Just before class started, Mr Anthony came in and told some of my classmates to cut their hair, but he didn't ask me! Haha! The first class was PENG and the first 3 groups were suppose to act their drama. Long ago, Mr Suresh said he would be inviting lecturers to watch it but today, he was the only one there.

The first group didn't act because they weren't ready. So, the second group, WL's group, went first. There were 2 parts in the drama where there were absolute silence. I feel scared and bad for them! Then, the third group came set the bar really high! Damn!

Then, we had NS class. Ms Jessica discussed some modal papers. When class ended, we went for lunch at the cafeteria. Then, we went to the lab till 1pm. Our practise was suppose to be at 1.30pm but there wasn't anyone in the exam-hall so we waited in the 2nd floor watching DO's group practise.

At 2.10pm, we went up to practise. Half my group members went home. So, the 3 of us just briefly discussed some details. ML and his group practised till 4pm. So, AL and I was just hanging around disturbing and laughing at them!

I'm leaving soon to watch Hancock. That is why I'm updating so early. And since it is at 9.30pm, I'll be missing an episode of "House". Haih, gain something lose another! Anyway, Ill have to bring the super bulky camera there since I don't have a camera phone or a slim camera!

Just Another Sunday

Woke up in the morning and played "Battle Realm". Then, we went to 97 for lunch. We ate leftovers from MM's party last night. Just enough to fill my stomach.

At home, E was playing some games in AddictingGames. So, I decided to join her. I found this game called Chronotron. To complete this game, you realy need to squeeze your brains! I was figuring it out until 6.30pm.

We went to Kepong for a "L Family" dinner in a vegetarian restaurant called "Rong Zhi". GG brought our nephew along. The food there was nice and the price was also reasonable. Much better than yesterday's wedding dinner!

Before going home, we went to pump some petrol into the Avanza. M went over to 97 to watch men's double tennis finals. Dad went to TMC to stock up our groceries while the rest of us watched "That So Raven" on Disney Channel (Astro 615).

It's been a long time since I watched it. This episode was funny too! After that, I came up and finished the rest of Chronotron. I'm proud to say I figured all of it by myself! Tomorrow, I will probably be sleeping late as I will be watching Hancock at 9.30pm. So, better go sleep soon... But before that,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
to mum and C!!

Just Another Saturday

When I woke up, dad told me that I have to drive the avanza for service. After my breakfast, we left home. I drove the Avanza and dad drove the Persona to the Toyota Service Centre.

At the traffic light in front of BV, dad turned left and I went left. He called me after a few minutes to ask me where I was. I waited for him by the side of the road. When he came, we continued our journey to the service centre in PJ.

There, we parked the car and went to the service counter. We went through some procedures and waited to talk to the service representative. After 10 minutes or so, we went to the car and dad told her what he is not satisfied about. We left car there and came home.

At 12, we went to Quan's for lunch. M and I shared the Mint Milkshake again. I ordered a French Toast Special (cheese and ham inside) and Fish&Chips. M ordered Grilled Fish and J ordered Fish&Chips too. The rest of them ordered some chinese food.

When the food came, a lady walked pass our table on her way out. She "stopped and stared" and said "look's interesting!". My mind was saying "Do I need you to tell me that?" The total bill was RM70++ for 6 of us. Not bad.

We rested at home and at 4.20pm, dad and I went to collect the Avanza. I came back alone because dad had an appointment in Subang Jaya. I surfed the net and played "Battle Realm" for awhile.

At 7.30pm, we went to 1Utama for a distant relative's wedding dinner. The groom is my dad's cousin from his father's side. We aren't that close to them so when we walked in, we felt kinda alienated. I was bored throughout the entire dinner...

I didn't like the food there (wont tell you where) and the service was really poor. When we left, I sang "I'm leaving, never to come back again". Hehe.
