Tuesday

I woke up early today and thought it was Wednesday. I told myself that since it is Wednesday, I can continue sleeping. I felt so happy because I was really tired. After rolling around on the bed, I noticed that it is actually Tuesday so I quickly rushed downstairs to eat breakfast. As I was eating my cereal, I realized that I don't have to go to school early too!! How stupid of me!! So I went back to sleep...

After class around 6pm, I walked back to APIIT building and turned my laptop on. Suddenly, 2 staff was rushing up the stairs and I wondered what happened. After awhile, I saw them go into the 2nd floor rooms where you can charge your laptops. Then about 1 minute later, a guy brought a wheelchair to that room. I saw the person they were rushing to was a guy and I assume he fainted and someone called for help. The guy was sitted in the wheelchair and they brought him down with the lift. At that time most of the classes also ended so there were a huge crowd at the Atrium (lobby area) watching the drama. An African who just finish class even asked me what happened and I told him. I didn't know Africans also so KePo like us Malaysians. Maybe because he got expose to too many Malaysians. He he.

In the car, AM told me that these cases happens once every few months. She say sometimes they do that to get excuse to pass up their assignment late. And apparently not only guys do that. And I told AM about those phantom students in class (never attended since day 1). She told me sometimes is like this because the foreign students paid the fees but they haven't arrived. Had a bad headache today since Numerical Skills class. Now its gone. Thank god. And my car (2nd hand Avanza) is coming late tonight. Will take some pics tomorrow to show all of you.

Bad Day for Our Lecturer

Before going to APIIT, we stopped along Jalan Telawi there to buy 2 Nasi Lemak (RM1 each). It tastes like any normal Nasi Lemak but somehow there were many cars queing to buy it.

In Numerical Skills class, I sat at the back row with MLTY. Towards the end of the class, the people beside and infront of MLTY and I were making alot of noise. Suddenly, Miss Jessica Leong couldn't stand it anymore and said "Okay, No need discussion already". Then she just spend about 5 seconds per slide and explained the important points and then paused about 1 min to let us copy the examples and asked us to "Try at Home". The rest of the lecture ended in 5 minutes.

Before we left, she said "If you don't understand, you go ask the guys at the back. They are experts". And then when some of the students wanted to pass up last week's home work, she said "No need to pass up, anything you don't understand you go and ask the guys at the back" . MLTY and I was so innocent man.

If you ask me, I personally think that even if some students are making noise, she should just chase them out and teach the rest of the class. She can't just deprive other students of their classes because a minority is making noise. We already paid the school fees so we deserve to be TAUGHT PROPERLY!! Watch out!! I'm going to give her a feedback later.

Today is Chor Yat (1st day of the Lunar Month) so I have to be a Vegetarian for a day. I had vegetarian lunch at home it sucked. I hope we don't have to eat the same thing for dinner... SS brought CJ7 and Ah Long Pte Ltd back. Hope to watch it soon.

**This blog was supposed to be a gratitude blog but somehow it evolved into a Food Blog. Never mind, 1 day i will decide to post my gratitudes.**

Dinner at Hokano in Uptown

Our whole family went to Hokano in Uptown for dinner. Its a small shop but the business there was quite good - full house. I ordered Chicken Katsu Don (RM 11.95). They also had their house roll "Hokano Roll" similar to "Mizu Maki". So we ordered it (RM 15.95). On the menu, it said RM5 for 8 California Rolls. Mum thought it was cheap so she ordered that too. When the food came, the California Rolls were not the type of California Rolls we use to eat. This one is like a sushi not a handroll. My Chicken Katsu Don was quite nice actually. The Hokano Rolls was okay too. Overall, the prices compared to Mizu are similar and the food are okay too. I drank too much Green Tea therefore my stomach was bloated.
A piece of California Roll.
Hokano Roll (8pcs).
Chicken Katsu Don - Chicken Cutlets with sauce over rice with salad.

Lunch at Empress Cafe in The Curve

Mum decided to go to the same place for lunch as Florence, MM and AC. When we reached The Curve, we looked for this place and turns out Empress Cafe is at the Ground floor and is facing Cineleisure. When we sat in the restaurant, Florence, MM and AC was already finishing their food. Mum ordered Nasi Lemak, J ordered Fish & Chips, M ordered Chicken Pie (must wait 20 mins) and I ordered Caesar Salad and French Toast. Before our food came, they decided to leave and MM told us that the food is not nice. Before serving the main courses, each person was given a complimentary ??? I tried a bit of Mum's Nasi Lemak (quite okay) , a piece of fish from J's Fish & Chips (not really nice) and some of M's Chicken Pie (not bad). My Caesar Salad was okay but the french toast was a disappointment. I thought it was going to be the Hong Kong style French Toast. The syrup they gave was too little to even dip anything. Before we left, they gave us a small complimentary piece of wrapped up cake each.
I dunno what this is called. It has some tuna inside.

Caesar Salad Rm19

Yucky French Toast RM7.

Weird looking cake (I ate 1 and it is edible).

Mom decided to go to Borders after she finished her food. When we wanted to go, M called her to come back and pay up. She only came back and paid after 15-20 minutes.
